NCB partners with UWI Mona on Critical Corporate Transformation Research

The University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona Campus, has handed over the Phase One report of the National Commercial Bank (NCB) Sponsored Applied Research on Corporate Transformation, undertaken by Mona School of Business and Management (MSBM).

The programme is the first of its kind in the Caribbean, with benefits for NCB, UWI and other organisations in the wider Caribbean community.

The project was initiated, as NCB observed that many Caribbean-based companies were in need of radical changes in organisational behaviour to survive dynamic global and local environments, and felt that academic research in this area would provide the foundation.

The NCB sponsored Applied research in Corporate Transformation project focused on corporate transformation in the Caribbean, where there is a paucity of academic studies to cope with challenges such as small market sizes and low economic growth. Read more
