No Tuition Fees Increase At UWI Come September

Students of the Mona Campus of the University of the West Indies (UWI) will not face an increase in tuition fees next academic year.

This was revealed at a press conference hosted yesterday by UWI officials.

UWI Vice Chancellor, Sir Hilary Beckles, told reporters that the university’s administration has no plans to seek an increase.

Beckles explained that the administration does not intend to approach the university’s council, which governs operations at the institution, for an adjustment in fees. Read more
