UWI Games 2017 Barbados - Schedule of Events
Both the opening of The UWI Games 2017 and the Vice-Chancellor’s Sports Awards will take place during a joint celebration of UWI sporting excellence at the Cave Hill campus, on Thursday 25th May, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. (Barbados time).
The UWI Games opening ceremony will kick off the biennial competition in which UWI students compete against each other in 10 different sports over the following 9 days.
At The UWI Vice-Chancellor’s Sports Awards, eleven student athletes from across the University’s four campuses—Cave Hill, Mona, Open and St. Augustine have been nominated, from which one female and one male will receive the top title of Sportswoman and Sportsman of the Year.
