
UWI ride west to test RSPL leaders
The tangle between hot-stepping leaders Tivoli Gardens FC and third-placed the University of the West Indies (UWI) FC is expected to be the pick of the games today when the Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) returns from a two-week break.
The match is scheduled to begin 3:00 pm at Edward Seaga Sports Complex.
The university team has been a torment to Tivoli since RSPL promotion, but the in-form West Kingston-based club is likely to prove difficult to stop at home.
Tivoli Gardens, who have won nine of their last 11 games, have 42 points from 21 outings — the same as champions Montego Bay United (MBU), but the latter trails due to an inferior goal difference. Read more
